Absolutely. Some of the women I work with have already been through fertility treatment, multiple rounds of testing or IVF. They often come to me with the same question: Is there anything else I could be doing to help my chances?
The Decoding Session doesn’t try to answer the same questions your fertility clinic is answering. Your clinic manages the treatment. I look at the body going into it.
I’m thinking of one specific couple I worked with who had their first IVF round when we’d only just started working together. They got a single embryo, graded B-C, and that transfer didn’t work, sadly.
When we looked more closely at both of them, at their bloodwork, symptoms and health history, we found several things that hadn’t been addressed: nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, significant gut dysbiosis, and imbalances affecting both egg and sperm quality. Over the following months, we worked on each of these to give their bodies the best possible conditions for pregnancy.
When they went through IVF again, they once more got a single embryo. This time it was graded A-B. She’s now in her third trimester, expecting their beautiful baby.
I can’t promise that outcome to anyone, and neither can any clinic. But eggs and sperm take around three months to develop, and the health of the body making them matters. That’s the part we can work on.
In your Decoding Session, I look at your bloodwork, symptoms, cycle and health history to see what could give your body better foundations for conception and pregnancy. That might mean nutrients needed for a healthy pregnancy, blood sugar regulation that could be affecting your hormones, or deficiencies that need attention before you conceive.
If you’re currently undergoing IVF or IUI, or about to start, timing matters too. See the next question before booking.
